Strong branding is not limited to websites or marketing campaigns. Some of the most important design work happens internally, shaping how teams experience information, communication, and company culture.

Our recent work with Optio Group focused on exactly that. Ahead of a major internal event, they needed us to create an on brand visual experience, digitising over 120 assets into a seemless and coherent onscreen presentation with multiple speakers. All within a tight turnaround.

Large presentations can easily become overwhelming. With so much information to communicate, consistency often becomes difficult to maintain across layouts, typography, imagery, and pacing. The goal here was not simply to redesign slides individually, but to create a clear visual system that carried throughout the entire presentation.

Working within the new Optio branding that Fresh01 helped create, we restructured everything to feel cleaner, more dynamic, and easier to engage with visually. Typography, colour, spacing, and layout were refined to create stronger hierarchy and consistency. The result was a presentation that felt less like a collection of separate pages and more like a unified experience.

This became especially important given the nature of the event itself. As Optio shared on LinkedIn following the day:

That sense of energy and ambition needed to be reflected visually. ‘Experience creative’ often sits in the background, but it plays a huge role in shaping how information is received. A strong visual identity helps maintain focus, reinforces professionalism, and creates a more engaging experience for the audience throughout the day.

Projects like this also highlight the importance of adaptability in design. Tight deadlines do not remove the need for thoughtful creative decisions. If anything, they make clarity and consistency even more important. Every slide needed to work quickly and effectively while still feeling part of a larger branded system.

Presentation design is sometimes overlooked within the wider design world, but it remains one of the most direct forms of communication a business can use. Whether viewed in a conference room, on stage, or across internal teams, these materials shape how people experience a brand in real time.

For Optio, the goal was to transform a large volume of information into something visually engaging, cohesive, and aligned with the future direction of their brand. By the end of the project, the presentation was not just supporting the event, it had become part of the experience itself.
