This month marks a monumental moment for the Berkshire community as Soulscape, a charity dedicated to the mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing of young people, is awarded the prestigious King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS). As the King celebrates his birthday and honours voluntary services across the UK, we at Fresh01 are thrilled to see Soulscape recognised for the incredible work they do.
Fresh01 are sponsors of Soulscape and their creative support agency, we have had the privilege to work and design with them for over 8 years. The King’s Award for Voluntary Service, which is equivalent to an MBE for local groups, is the highest accolade a voluntary organisation can receive, and it’s awarded for life. This recognition is a testament to the tireless dedication and passion Soulscape brings to the young people of Berkshire, creating safe, nurturing spaces where they can explore the challenges they face in today’s fast-paced world.
The mission that Soulscape has deeply resonates with us. Their work in partnership with local schools is invaluable in offering young people the opportunity to reflect, heal, and grow. In an era where mental health issues among young people are more pressing than ever, Soulscape provides a sanctuary where young minds can find clarity, self-expression, and support. From workshops to one-on-one sessions, they help young people navigate the complexities of life, building resilience and fostering mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
As long-time collaborators, we’ve witnessed firsthand the positive impact Soulscape has on students, teachers, and the wider community.
