The team over at Stable Eventseat, sleep and breathe events”, running several successful in-person events throughout the year, every year. Most notably, The Game Fair, Blenheim Palace Horse Trials, and NSS.

Each event has its own marketing strategy, audience and requirements, which all heavily rely on having a website to promote, inform and capture information.

Due to the nature of the information such as timetables, parking, directions, sponsors, and exhibitors, updates need to be made fast, efficiently and dynamically. The problem Stable Events was experiencing was that the technology powering each of the 5x websites was not the same as each other so every time a new member of the Stable Events team came in they essentially had 5x different builders to learn and make company-wide changes required more time than was necessary.

This is where Fresh01 came in to help! Having previously built the Game Fair website in WordPress and using a theme builder that they were well versed in, it quickly became apparent that the other sites should follow a similar structure. This way, there was a level of consistency, understanding and shared knowledge amongst the team and the viewers now and for the future.

As well as having the same back-end functionality and build amongst all sites, each website underwent a new design face-lift in a way that shared elements, layouts and structure between them. Such as leading with a video slideshow behind the site’s title, followed by the site’s core information in a masonic style. This not only made life easier for those editing the sites themselves but also meant that users going between the different websites who were already accustomed to a specific layout didn’t have to re-learn or figure out how to navigate something new.

The key here was to keep as much of the structure the same whilst giving each site an individual look and feel to still stand out and be its own entity.
