Questions? We’ve probably heard them before.

Whether you’re thinking about a new website, refreshing your brand or just need an extra pair of creative hands, there’s usually a lot to consider. We’ve answered some of the questions we’re asked most often to help make things a little clearer.

Working with Fresh01

We work with businesses of all shapes and sizes, from growing teams and established SMEs through to larger organisations and global brands. A lot of our clients come to us when they need experienced creative support without building a bigger in-house team.

A large part of our work is B2B, particularly for businesses with complex products, services or audiences that need to be communicated clearly. But we’re not exclusively a B2B agency and regularly work on customer-facing brands and campaigns too.

Absolutely. In fact, it’s one of the ways we work best. We can become a bolt-on creative team for smaller marketing departments, support an overstretched internal team or simply step in when you need additional expertise or capacity.

If you don’t have an in-house marketing team at all, that’s fine too. We can help shape the brief, prioritise what needs doing and guide the project from there.

You’ll work directly with the Fresh01 team rather than being passed through layers of account management. We’ll put together the right mix of designers, developers, copywriters and other specialists depending on what the project needs.

You’ll also have a clear point of contact throughout, so you always know who to speak to.

The majority of our creative work is handled by our own team. Where a project needs a specialist skill, such as photography, development, illustration or voiceover, we may bring in trusted people from our wider network. Either way, we manage the process and remain responsible for the work.
Yes. We work with clients and teams internationally and are comfortable managing projects remotely across different locations and time zones, including businesses operating in the UAE and other overseas markets.

Brand & creative

We’re a full-service creative agency, covering brand identity, graphic design, campaigns, presentations, reports, brochures, digital content, social assets and plenty in between.

Rather than fitting every project into a predefined package, we tend to build the right creative support around what you actually need.

Yes. We can help with everything from headlines and campaign messaging through to website copy, articles, brochures, presentations and longer-form content.

We can also work with copy you’ve already written, helping edit, structure or simplify it before it reaches the design stage.

Yes. We can support projects with photography, filming, video editing, motion graphics, animation and illustration, either through our own team or specialist creative partners.

We can manage these as standalone projects or as part of a wider campaign, brand or website project.

Of course. Not every project needs a rebrand. We’re equally happy working within an established identity, helping you apply it consistently and finding ways to make the most of the brand you already have.
Yes. Sometimes a brand doesn’t need ripping up and replacing, it just needs a bit more clarity, consistency or personality.

We can review what you already have and evolve elements such as typography, colour, imagery, messaging and supporting assets without losing the recognition you’ve already built.

Websites & digital

Yes. We can take a website from initial thinking and structure through UX, design, copy, development, testing and launch.

That means you don’t need to manage separate design and development teams unless you already have technical partners you’d like us to work alongside.

Definitely. A complete rebuild isn’t always the answer.

We can review an existing site and improve individual areas such as navigation, page structure, visual design, content, performance, landing pages or conversion journeys without throwing everything away.

Yes. We’re used to working alongside internal development teams, IT departments, marketing platforms and external technical partners.

We can provide anything from creative direction and UX through to finished designs and assets ready for your developers to implement.

Yes. Accessibility and usability should be considered as part of good design rather than added at the end.

We can review areas such as colour contrast, typography, navigation, content structure, responsive behaviour and general ease of use, as well as designing with recognised accessibility guidance in mind.

Yes. Where appropriate, we can help arrange hosting and provide ongoing website support after launch.

That could include maintenance, updates, new pages, design improvements and general technical support rather than leaving you with a finished website and disappearing into the fog.

It depends on the project, but we’ll admit we have a soft spot for WordPress. It’s the platform we work with most and the one we’ll often recommend because it gives clients plenty of flexibility without making day-to-day updates unnecessarily complicated.

That said, we also work with platforms such as Webflow and HubSpot, and we’ll always recommend the setup that makes the most sense for your content, functionality, internal team and longer-term plans.

Costs, timings & ongoing support

A detailed specification isn’t essential. Usually we just need to understand what you’re trying to achieve, what needs creating, any known requirements and whether there’s a particular deadline or budget to work around.

From there, we can ask the right questions and turn that into a sensible scope.

It depends on the size of the project and how quickly feedback and content are available.

Smaller brand projects might take a few weeks, while larger branding or website projects can run over several months. We’ll agree a realistic schedule with you before starting and break larger projects into clear stages.

Not at all. We work on everything from larger brand and website programmes through to individual brochures, presentations, campaigns, videos, landing pages or one-off pieces of creative.

Some of our longest client relationships have started with a relatively small first project.

Yes. Some clients work with us project by project, while others use Fresh01 as an ongoing creative resource.

If there’s a regular flow of work, we can agree a retained level of support that gives your team reliable access to creative help without needing to brief and source a new agency every time something appears.

That depends entirely on what you need next. We can hand everything over and leave your team to run with it, or stay involved with ongoing creative, digital, website or campaign support.

We’re equally comfortable being brought back when needed rather than creating an ongoing commitment where there doesn’t need to be one.

No. An initial conversation is simply a chance to understand what you’re trying to achieve, talk through the challenges and see whether we’re a good fit.

No. And that’s often where we can be most useful.

You might know there’s a problem with your brand, website or marketing without knowing exactly what the answer should be. We can help untangle the problem, work out what will make the biggest difference and define what actually needs doing before everyone starts designing things.

Still have a question?

If we haven’t covered it above, just get in touch. Whether you know exactly what you need or you’re still figuring it out, we’re always happy to talk it through and point you in the right direction.
