Cordwallis

Helping a nationwide vehicle hire brand refresh its identity, streamline its website, and deliver standout campaigns — all while supporting a busy in-house marketing team with no dedicated design resource.

We’ve been working with commercial vehicle hire specialists Cordwallis for over a year, supporting their marketing team with ongoing creative, design, and campaign execution. While they have a small but busy in-house marketing team, they didn’t have dedicated design support — and that’s where we’ve been able to add real value.

At the start of the partnership, one of our first tasks was to refresh the Cordwallis brand, adding saturation and energy to their core colour palette to improve visibility across digital platforms. This updated look and feel fed directly into a series of updates to their corporate website — giving it a more dynamic presence, simplifying the user journey, and creating a more flexible structure to build on over time.

Since then, we’ve helped bring a wide range of marketing activity to life. From customer service-led campaigns and internal values initiatives to topical pushes around events like the World Cup, Christmas advent giveaways, golf days and go-karting events, our work has spanned both external and internal audiences across all UK locations — from Reading to Heathrow, Bicester to Maidenhead.

We’ve also worked closely with Cordwallis to develop and expand their blog content from the ground up, transforming their website into a more valuable knowledge hub for customers and prospects alike. By crafting keyword-targeted articles tailored to their core services, vehicles, and audience interests, we’ve helped enhance their online visibility and strengthen their SEO performance. This strategic approach not only supports their digital marketing goals but also reinforces Cordwallis as a trusted authority in their industry.

I couldn’t be happier with my new website. It looks professional, works great on phones and tablets, and really shows off the kind of work we do in the garage. Customers can now find us easily, book appointments online, and get the info they need without having to call. The whole process was smooth from start to finish, and the end result is something I’m proud to put my name on.

We’ve also produced a full suite of branded marketing collateral to support their offers and services, including a newly launched quarterly parts brochure.

Designed as a premium A4 folder and printed to a high standard, the brochure also lives online as an interactive digital edition. It features key industry names like TengTools, Durite, and Haldex, and reinforces Cordwallis’ strong position within the sector.

As part of this collaboration, we’ve naturally worked within the guidelines of leading automotive brands including Isuzu, Mercedes, Volkswagen and MAN, adapting creative for different materials, audiences, and use cases — all while maintaining brand integrity.

Whether it’s a new product launch or a service promotion, the Cordwallis team regularly brings us in to workshop ideas, plan campaigns and create the supporting assets they need — all while they focus on strategy and customer engagement.

Their website is powered by Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), third-party APIs and platforms like AutoTrader, meaning technical integration plays a big role in our design decisions too.

Ultimately, our role is to remove the creative and production burden from the internal team — giving them space to focus on the big picture. It’s been a strong and collaborative partnership, and one we continue to build on.
