Following an extensive RFP – Fresh01 have been awarded the contract to create a Global Humanitarian Operations Platform for Save The Children International.
The system which will be web based and integrate existing Microsoft systems, is to be phased for stage 1 completion 1st quarter 2013. Fresh01 are currently undergoing a detailed scoping phase which will create technical and functional specifications along with wireframes for the project. We will be using Microsoft technologies; Microsoft Active Directory network domain and Microsoft enterprise systems (Exchange, SQLServer, SharePoint & Lync). The system will be a locally-hosted cloud-based solution built on top of Microsoft’s ASP.net MVC technology, this will integrate well with their MS infrastructure systems. The system will support connectivity and publishing from devices connecting over low-bandwidth and satallite networks and also allow work to be carried out in an offline mode.
Managing Director, Kurt Özfıçıcı comments, ‘This is a very important project for Fresh01, it catapults us into the charities and not for profit sector that we haven’t explored in great detail before. The client is a huge win for us and allows Fresh01 to contribute to an incredible global cause.
